What You Need To Know


10 minutes before your class begins.
If it's your first visit, or you need to pay for classes at the desk, arrive at least 15 minutes early. We close the class for late arrivals up to 10 min after class start time. Some classes at our discretion do not permit late arrivals.

Book your class

Visit our interactive schedule and create an account. Download the mindbody app to manage your classes from your phone. Walk in spaces are available but not guaranteed for classes with smaller numbers.

Cancel your class

You can cancel online bookings up to 2 hours prior to the class start time. After that time, please call us at the studio on 3898113For classes with limited spaces we strongly recommend prebooking, if you fail to show up for this class you may be charged for the class.

Parking for Yoga Students

During peak retail hours (between 10am and 4.30pm), yoga students should not park in the main retail carpark. There is free street parking all around the Tannery. Before 10am and after 4.30pm, yoga students are welcome to park in the main retail carpark. There is also a small additional carpark off Maunsell with a direct walkway to our boardwalk.

Mats for Hire

We offer quality Manduka ProLite Mats for $2 hire. If you bike, walk, run or skate to yoga hire is free! Please spray it down with our natural cleaner after class before returning it to reception. 

Special Conditions & Injuries

Anyone with serious medical conditions or injuries should consult their GP prior to beginning a yoga practice. It is very important however that you select an appropriate class level when you are recovering or rehabing an injury. Do let the teacher know of any specific conditions or injuries you are working with prior to the start of class. Class Cancellations & Substitute Teachers

Grassroots Yoga & Health reserves the right to arrange for a qualified substitute teacher as needed or to cancel classes due to inclement weather or staff emergencies. Class cancellations will appear on the online booking system. A reduced schedule of classes or full closure may happen during training weekends and holidays. 

Lost Property

Any belongings left at the studio will be placed in the lost property basket in reception. Grassroots is not responsible for loss of items.
